Keep Cool in schools of the Republic of Moldova
From 1 June 2023 to 30 December 2023, AO EcoVisio is implementing the project "Keep Cool - Empowering Young People to act for Climate" with the financial support of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness on climate change and increase negotiation and advocacy skills among young people by promoting and practicing the educational board game "Keep Cool" to empower and expand the group of young activists in Moldova.
The objectives of the project are:
- Printing of 50 Keep Cool game sets in total (in Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian);
- Organising 12 offline games with existing ambassadors/multipliers to promote the game;
- Organising 2 trainings for new multipliers to be held on 9-10 August and 12-13 August;
- Organising a reflection training for new multipliers;
- Creating a promotional video for the game with subtitles in Romanian, Russian and English to be used as promotional and explanatory material for new players;
- Making an explanatory video about the rules of Keep Cool with subtitles in Romanian, Russian and English.
EcoVisio has extensive experience with the Keep Cool board game and intends to introduce the game as an educational tool in as many youth and educational institutions as possible to more effectively communicate the climate agenda to young people and develop their communication and advocacy skills for their future climate actions.
