What You’ll Gain:
● Expert Insights: Learn from specialists on topics such as energy transition, circular economy, housing crisis, and sustainable forestry.
● Hands-on Learning: Enhance your investigative techniques, digital security knowledge, and proficiency with AI tools for journalism.
● Cross-Border Collaboration: Work with journalists from six countries, conducting joint research and producing impactful media content.
● Field Experience: Participate in three offline labs in Moldova, Germany, and Poland, including excursions to relevant organizations and research institutes.
Participation Requirements:
● Who: Journalists from Belarus, France, Germany, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine, with experience in print, online media, radio, podcasts, TV, film, or video.
● Publications: Participants are required to have a medium for publishing at least three journalistic pieces during the project, including one cross-border collaboration.
● Language: Proficiency in English is required. Publications may be made in native languages.
● Travel: Participants must have valid travel documents (passport, visa). We offer assistance with visa queries.
Financial Support:
● Free of Charge: All travel (economy class), accommodation, and meals (mostly vegetarian) will be covered.
● Research Funding: Limited reimbursement for cross-border research travel expenses may be available. We also encourage participants to apply for additional grants to support in-depth investigations.
Conditions:
● Full participation in all program modules, online workshops, and offline meetings is expected.
● Participants are required to publish at least three journalistic pieces during the project, including one cross-border collaboration.
● Ongoing support will be provided for will be provided for research planning and expert contacts throughout the project.
